The group are adamant that there are no financial issues surrounding their departure from the channel, but that they are simply moving on to new ventures.

Founder Thane Kirby is to become programme director at dance radio station George FM.

Oliver Driver is the co-presenter of TV3s morning current affairs show Sunrise.

They are lying through their fucking teeth and havent handed it over, they are trying to cut a better deal after blowing almost 2 million of someone elses money and want the staff to support them, staff cant wait till the 4 of them fuck off and leave and allow the rest to try and dig Alt out of the hole they have left it in.

Yep - unpaid staff - a month and counting so I here; and still they say financially its fine?
I gather the only person they are negotiating with is the finance company.
Who would buy Alt in that condition? A broadcasting school probably!

These cunts have run ALT into the ground since the very beginning - fooling the public into thinking it's a great station and they pay their staff is absolute bullshit. They never gave a fuck about anyone but themselves, Ricky & Thane only sold 50% to try and get some money as they'd spent everything on drinking and bitches. When the other two fuckers came on board they just made things worse. At the end of the day the station is better off without these passionless fuckwits who should stick to what they're good at - talking shit and pretending to be cool. Fuck the lot of them - let the dedicated staff who ARE ALT TV pick up the pieces and move the fuck on.
