Speaking of the idea of getting music via the internet in a completely legal way, it seems Coldplay are giving away a digital version of their new single free for a week at coldplay.com.
This comes as bands seek new ways to sell their music and connect with fans, particularly over the internet says Stuff.co.nz.

I used to buy a CD of Coldplay and I remember about 3 years ago..1 of my mate was crazy about the song Fix me and on the corridor of our hall, he was playing that song on and on and on.. kk I am the one of a few who were not complaining.. at all . lol
How can I get the free song? I got bit lost in the coldplay.com.

I think the promotion might have ended the other day as the website under the Song section looks different now to it did when I went there.
I think they only made it available for a week.
